I’m Jimmy G, a strength and conditioning and jiu-jitsu coach based in Konin, Poland.
I’ve been training BJJ for six years and teaching kids and adult classes for over four,
working with both masters athletes and young competitors
to improve performance, confidence, and long-term development.
I didn’t start jiu-jitsu in peak condition. When I began, I weighed around 130kg.
Through consistent training, structured strength work, and disciplined habits,
I rebuilt my health and now compete and coach at around 85–90kg.
That experience shapes how I coach — I understand what it’s like to start from behind,
to rebuild, and to train for longevity rather than ego.
I’m fully certified in strength and conditioning (IUASC Level 4)
and hold additional coaching qualifications in BJJ,
Yoga, Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, Diet Planning and Athletic Development.
My approach is simple: intelligent training over smashing,
strength that supports your sport, and steady progress that protects the body.
I focus on helping masters athletes stay strong, mobile, and competitive,
and guiding young athletes to develop skill, resilience, and confidence.
I’ve coached my own family to national and European BJJ success.
My wife earned bronze at the Polish Championships following the strength and conditioning program I designed for her,
and my daughters have won multiple national gold medals.
Seeing that progress firsthand reinforces my belief that structured, consistent coaching works.
Alongside my Jiu Jitsu coaching, my background in rugby and years of designing training systems in the service industry
have shaped how I build programs — practical, structured, and tailored to the individual.
As a native English speaking coach living in Poland, I offer sessions in English or Polish.
For young athletes, this creates a unique opportunity
to develop both athletic and language skills in a focused environment.
